Education in Brazil between 1930 and 1985: prioritizing quantity over quality in educational expansion

چکیده
In the history of research on Brazilian education, several studies address expansion elementary education over years in country, addition to historical pedagogical context that permeated this process period between 1930 and 1985. The main objective article is analyze Elementary Education, based Laws Guidelines Bases National Education (GBNE) no. 4.024/61 5.692/71. concludes educational policy military dictatorship Brazil after 1960s was supported by these two laws, their ensure vacancies aiming at minimum qualification for entry into labour market, prioritising quantity not quality education. Public materialized formation human resources considered a way guarantee productivity; attending, one hand, demands qualified labor capitalist other improvement wages distribution income elites.
